Doing Much Better

David hasn't had any pain meds for about 36 hours, and seems to be doing fine. I don't think he is back to 100% yet, but he is pretty close. He is much calmer than usual- or maybe the surgery affected his disposition. The doctor said that if his sleep ...

Things Are Worse Before They Get Better

The first couple of days home David did really well. He was eating well, sleeping well, and playing almost like he normally does. But by Sunday, David had changed.

David's change from Saturday afternoon to Monday evening
Starting Saturday night, David was sleeping with us because we would wake up in ...

Grammy Visiting with the Kids

David, obviously, wasn't in the mood for photos (he threw a fit while we were trying), but I was able to take a couple of cute ones with Grammy and Gracie.

Home from the Hospital!

David's surgery went well this morning and we came home only a few hours afterwards. He had both his tonsils and adenoids removed and is doing really well. The worst part was when we could all hear him screaming down the hallway, but we weren't allowed to see him yet. ...

Surgery Will Be This Thursday Morning

David's surgery will take place on Thursday morning.

I have to call the doctor's office tomorrow to find out the exact time. They schedule the surgeries in order of youngest to oldest- which means David will probably be first thing in the morning.

I will be posting tomorrow to let you know ...

Grace’s First Birthday Bash!

Gracie and Mommy. Grace's Ladybug Cake- I always call her my "bug", so I thought it would be neat to make her a cake with little ladybugs on it. I ordered the bug and flowers online, but made the stems, leaves and rocks from chocolate. It was really fun ...

Peek-A-Boo with Grace

One of Grace's favorite things to do is to play Peek-A-Boo. She does it every time that I change her diaper. She is using a present that she got from her Aunt Lu in these photos.

Where's Grace?

There she is!
